Just instaled Diablotuner. WOW What a diffrence already Had K&N Drop in noticed a littile crisper throttle response then Flowmaster 40 series again bit crisper response and that great Sound now its quick and im just running 87 tune about to go for spin and try to burn off the 1/4 tank and download the 91 Tune 2004 Screw
I have been looking at both the Diablo Predator and the Superchips. From what I understand the Diablo is the better choice (has more features). So, as soon as I can talk "She-Who-Must-Be-Obeyed" into me making that purchase I will be getting it.
How does the Predator compare to the Superchips for fixing the throttle lag? I really like the data logging and email update features of the Predator - - but I want to be sure it's going to fix the key reason for getting the tuner.
I have a 2004 SCREW 5.4L 2WD and just installed the Diablo performance tune(91 octane). My vehicle mods are airaid cold air intake and Borla rear dual exhaust. With those two mods my truck has been running great. I have ran thru 2 tanks of 91 octane before installing the Diablo. My help question is this. I installed the tune with no problemm and boy did it put life into my truck. It runs with no problems or pinging, but the engine help light is on on the dash. Now I just put the original tune back in the truck and the light went off. Has anybody that has installed the Diablo had this problem and know what is causing the light to come on. Again there is no performance problems that I can feel or hear, just the engine light is on. Thanks in advance for any advice or help.
Yes easy fix plug your tuner back in download the 91 Tune drive until light come's back on. Plug in Your Diablo. Select Diagnostics, Select Show Trouble code's, then select earase trouble code. Your done. happend to me today
Hey 2004 Screw thanks so much for the help, I am going to do that. I have one question though it it shows you a trouble code dosen't that mean something is wrong! And if I erase it is that fixing the problem or just turning off the light. Thanks again
O.K. your computer has a program that controls air fuel timeing right well the tuner changes all that so you will get trouble codes not that theres any thing wrong with your truck its just that your computer is getting diffrent info and thinks there is problem your codes are more then likely air and fuel codes and unless you have done a custome tune you should be fine2004 Screw
