I was haulin *** on Six tonight and when I came to make a U-turn and then My truck just decided to turn its self off. It Did start right back up but I want to know what the deal is.....I dont know it is something to do with my new chip? HELP PLZ ... and fast...

what kind of truck is it? what motor? mileage? etc maybe that stuff will help. thanks

 

2001 with a 4.2 liter. 28kmiles automatic witha a 2 stage delta chip

 

check for loose wire or loose chip??? are you still in warrenty. if so and you can get it to do it again maybe take it to a dealer and show them. see what they think. wish i could help more but i run diesels and dont have any experience with the 4.2. maybe post in the forum specific for that truck?? they would know more about your vehicle

 

Hmmm... I thought the chip was on there pretty good... but ill pop it out just to make sure.... Thanks for the help

 

Well the thing stalled three times last night. Im getting kinda sick of this Chip. More trouble than its worth

 

was the chip configured for any other add ons you might have on your truck if not might want to get it calibrated for the different parts. Also, like was said before if still under warranty take it in. if not then start listing the was it dies when it dies how it dies and so on so someone can get a better idea.
