I was turning around today on a small road, only had the truck 1 day, I didnt have enough room so I had to drive off the road a little. When I when onto the grass and up a small incline to turn around my rear end made a loud noise. It sounded like my bumper hit the concret. I got out and could see no sign that that had happened. It was really loud allmost a metal on metal sound.

Later I turned around again and the same thing. This time my wife was with me and it wasnt on the same road. We both got out and could see no sign of damage to the truck or the road.

Really strange... i cant duplicate the problem again. It was really loud. I was sure that I had ran the back onto the pavement but couldnt see how that was possible. It was a very small incline both times.

Anyone experience anything similar?

maybe you have the limited slip rear end problem that others have posted about on here. I believe they have to replace the clutch pac in the rearend with an updated one.
