I'm Looking for a 6" to 8" suspension lift for a 1979 Ford F150 2wd. I put one on my 82 F100 using BDS and superlift parts. However I can not locate a manufacturer for a 2wd lift for a 1979. I would appreciate any help. Thank you.
i did mine its a 77 f150 2wd. 6"national coils, and i bent the beams myself. extended the radius arms and corrected my castor . drive straight . check autofab.com he specializes in king pin suspension
How did you bend the beams? With a sledge? I watched junkyard mega wars and they had a 2wd ford that the guys flipped the beams on, but then the tires really tipped bad. Ted
i used a set of anchors in my buddys shop, they were chains in the concrete and a port-o-power with some heat . most would use a press but i am cheap and dont have a press that it powerfull enough.
