Help with Lighted Running boards for 2004 Super Crew

I just added a set of aftermarket lighted running boards to my father's 2004 F150 super crew. On this vehicle I do not see a readily available place to splice or connect to the courtesy lights so that the running board lights come on at the same time.

I've done some checking of the wiring a little with no luck. I'm hoping someone's already done this.

I know that I'm looking for a black wire with a blue stripe from previous vehicles, but I haven't found one that switches on/off when any of the doors are opened.

Thanks.

Installed a set on my 04 Lariat Screw just after I purchased it. If you get under the sill plate on the drivers side and cut open the wiring bundle you will find the wire, black with blue stripe as advertised. Watched my local performance shop install mine.

Good luck.

Mr. Manners, thanks for the help. It's been a while since I've been able to get back to the thread, but I'm going to try looking for it again in the location you suggested.
