Had the 03 battery ground recall
Yersterday I had the recall- I talked to the tech before it was performed and he said it is only about 20-30 minute job although mine was the first to be done at this dealeship. Interesting item of note: Afterward, the engine was very quiet at idle- Acceleration seemed ok. This morning the engine was definitely quieter at idle and the rpm seemed to jump around a bit at stop lights- Never really had this before in 34,500 miles. Nothing on the trucks electrical system had been re-set (clock, mpg etc.)
After a 25 mile drive this afternoon to various job sites, the idle is back to normal and the truck runs better than ever
Wondering if anyone else has had similar experience with the recall?

Truck build date. There is another site that will run your VIN and tell you if the recall applies. It is the http://6literpowerstroke.flatratetech.com/ Message Forums under OASIS.
