351m to 460

so i hear all this talk about 351m and 460 bolting up to c6 tranny,are we talking about fliping it in or am i going to have to modify? plus is the c6 gonna hold after i put a stroker and blower on it.....i need to go really fast,dont like shifting..thanks in advance......t rux

A buddy took the 460 out of his 77 F-250 and put a 400 in. The chassis half of the motor mounts were different & so were changed. There were no problems with the TC or bell pattern.
Check the top two bolts on the pattern. The 351C came with 2 different patterns as I remember. Was the 351M like that too?

I got a stroked 460, sorry no blower.
