So I really do need a truck very badly, and I may have found a good deal on an 87 Ford Ranger. The thing is it needs a wheel bearing replaced (the owner didn't specify whether it was front or rear) and I haven't been able to find a price of one for this year online. Will I be able to find parts for this old of a truck? Does anyone how much I'm going to pay to get this bearing replaced? I was also wondering if anyone on here is from around Boston, MA and knows a good Ford mechanic (I have had some bad luck with mechanics in the past).

Is the truck 2 or 4 wheel drive? A front 2 wd bearing is cheap and easy, not sure about 4 wd, any rear will be more money.
