95 5.8L Bassani Headers

I plan on getting the chrome Bassani Headers for our Ford 5.8 and was hoping if any who has them could tell me if the passenger side header come with the EGR hookup for that big pipe that goes to the upper intake manifold.

Also does anyone know the cheapest place to buy those headers, the going price that I have found for those chrome bassani headers are about $373 and ceramic are another 100 on top of that.

Thanks

I recently put on a set of the ceramic coated Bassani's on my 93 Bronco 351W. They do have the hookup for the EGR stuff. I bought mine on proficientperformance.com.

I looked at your gallery pics, looks pretty nice with them under the hood. Do they bolt right up to the stock y-pipe like they claim they do? Did the headers come with new bolts for the exaust flanges on the y-pipe?

They bolted up perfectly and came with all new bolts for the headers and the Y-pipe. Definitely the best investment I have made for my truck so far. You can read my thread, "header install tips" to read about the horrible time I had installing them, mostly because of a broken echaust manifold bolt and a cracked spark plug. Without those problems the install would have been very straight forward.

Hey snowmobilerfreak, yeah they bolt right up like wakeboarder said.

Are you going to replace your Y Pipe with a Bassani Y pipe? Its kinda the icing on the cake for those nice new headers.

You also might want to consider some Stage 8 header bolts for your header install, these bolts wont back out so you dont end up with leaky headers. Good luck on your install and let us know how it goes!

the key to good bolts for your headers is make sure they are 1" long. most of them out there are 3/4" and dont get into the head far enough for a good sinch down. stage 8 are nice. ive also seen some new ones in summit mag that are a 8 point head with an allen bolt in the middle that when tightend expandes inside the bolt hole. they are a tad spendy but looked like they would work well.
