02 harley v.s. mass air - part 2

okay, a lot of you ones read my post and didnt comment, so one of two things happened...(1) you are all lost as i am or (2) i wasnt making my question clear...i bet it was #2...so let me try again....

with all my mods...(please see earlier post) i have been told that instaling a mass air (aftermarket/larger) and or a larger throttle body would not do anything for the performance....it could even mess up the diablo tuning....so i was wondering if there was anyone out there that new any better???

thanks again

Larger mass air and throttle bodies always improve breathing and performance. Sometimes you sacrifice low end torque. I have 2 Ford vehicles that I have added a larger mass air. A 98 Mustang GT and a 03, 6.0 Powerstroke. Both benifited. The Powerstroke has a Predator Tuner. The mass Air was part of the K&N FIPK package. My dyno sheet is on my Gallery. The 387 HP and 728 Ft lb of torqueare about 112 above what the stock ones were making.

you can have the diablo chip reburned to take advantage of those 2 things if you decide to do them. but even if you do not have the chip reburned it will not hurt it. you also might want to talk to Ken in the progammers and chips forum.
