longer wear than Swampers.

Hey all, sorry, this may have been covered but i am out to sea with the navy and have limited time on the net. I am currently running 37" swampers on 16" wheels. I just bought the wheels so i want to keep them, the swampers are SSR's. The question is, i am looking for a tire in near the same size that will wear for more than 12k miles. I am looking at some 38x15.5 PJ dirt grips, i dont wheel the truck much, it is just a big pavement pounder, i am also not to worried about clearance as the front end has bulged/raised fiberglass fenders and a bulged bed. So the 38's should clear, i just want to know they will last before i chunk down 380 a tire.
