Superchips Tuner Anyone
#2
im sure the results will be well worth the wait. look at it this way, would you want a product quickly released that will give you problems or wait a bit for a good product that will be of better quality. im a horse power junke myself, have had chips, airboxes, nitrous, guages, exhaust on my prior two rangers and am anxiously waiting to add more power to my 04 f150 fx4. but i would rather play the waiting game for quality than a quickly released product that causes me problems.

I called Superchips yesterday and they are taking orders for their '04 tuner now. Supposed to start shipping July 29th or 30th. Their model number for the '04's is 1714.
I've been counting the days for this thing as well because Ford can't seem to get it right. I've never owned a vehicle that felt as "disconnected" in the drive train as this one. I can only hope that the aftermarket and $400 is going to turn all that around. In the mean time, I've been driving it with the overdrive turned off. It doesn't help the mileage much, but at least it starts in a decent gear and doesn't try to instantly shift into overdrive...

I WILL be getting the programmer too asap.
My flavor was a Tow/perf on 91 octane because I do some towing. Now when the programmer arrives I can do a full performance program and then go back whenever I want.
Got to see when that programmer is shipping......
