Help: Your opinions on the 351 Cleveland needed...
Guys, I´m considering an engine swap for a Bronco stock 300 I-6. MY top choice so far is the 351W. Yet I've heard some good things about the Cleveland. I understand the Rancheros (at least some...) came equipped with than engine stock. How good is it really?, I heard parts are hard to find...

For your Bronco I would pick the 351W the smaller ports generate more low end torque via faster velocity. The Cleveland would be more exotic but things like headers might be really hard to find. Rebuild kits for the C are available almost anywhere (i.e. Summit, etc.) Try finding kits for a boss 302 or 429! Have Fun

Ford had a very long run on three engines the 300 I-6, the 302 V8 and then the 351W V8 with the 300 & 302 being far out in the lead.
My vote would be the W just for the power, but a kick around would be happy with a 302, and there are all kinds of add on's available.
just a couple of coppers
