Send me a copy of what you have, this sounds like it may be part of my problem on a 94 Explorer XLT. I have replaced everything and still no heat. I have replaced the thermostat,temp sending unit, water pump, htr control valve and the heater core.I have the heater core out again and am going to replace it again. I pulled the cover and with the truck running and the heater on full blast the heater core doesnt seem to be getting very hot. Although it flows water real good in both directions some of the channels may still be stopped up.If that doesnt fix it I may look into what you are talking about.

I read your topic on the blend door and this sounds logical to me. on my 96 explorer first I couldn't get cold air this summer, now there is no hot air but the hoses to the heater core are hot. please send me the info on this repair my email is cutch@westpa.net
The more I research this problem the more I realize how big of a job this is. You help would be greatly appreciated.
