x plan help.....after purchasing truck

I traded in my 5.4L for a new 6.0L last week. I have access to a X-plan PIN # through my work and mentioned that to the salesman when we sat down to negotiate the price. He said that it wasn't needed because the SD's were $6000 off plus rebates and the 6K was more of a discount than the X-plan. I ended up getting the 6.0 for $8500 off MSRP, plus I got to keep the wheels/tires and other misc stuff from my old (2003) truck.

When I went to sign the financing papers, the finance guy told me that if I could get my xplan PIN, it would help him out.

So, here's my question: How much $$$ will he be getting back from Ford? My truck is a done deal and I don't have to provide him with the #, but I was thinking I could negotiate some of the Ford rebates that I signed over to the dealership so that I could get some $$$ kicked back to me for helping them out.

Any opinions?

X-Plan pays approx. 1.5% of MSRP to the dealer. I don't know why they would pass on it in the first place; it's money in their pocket. Be careful how you approach this- some dealers may just tell you to stick it before they'll share any X-Plan commission.

Thanks for the reply. I wasn't sure if it was going to be $500, or $5000, they would be getting back. 1.5% is not worth pursuing.
