Question Factory Ordering An 04 F250???

HI everyone ,This is my first post to this forum.I hope that I'm doing this right.I have a question about a 04 F250 that I ordered on May 4. About how long does it take for an order to be filled and delivered? I'm in South Jersey about 5 miles east from Philadelphia Pa.

If it got scheduled to be built then about 6-8 weeks. Call your dealer and see if he has a VIN. You could ask Jeff in the New truck section above.

There's more to it than just placing an order. Dealers are allocated vehicles based on sales; the more we sell, the more we get. Allocation is done weekly- let's say we were allocated 5 Super-Dutys this week, but we had 6 orders to fill. One of them will have to wait until we get more allocation. This is why one dealer can get a truck in 4 weeks, while the dealer down the street has to wait 6 months for the same identical truck. It should be a "first-come, first-served" deal, but that would be too simple, which would confuse the heck out of all the geniuses at Ford Marketing. Don't get me started...............
