Just click the seatbelt in and then put your stuff on the seat. Should work.

Easy to disable seatbelt chime

I dont remember the actual code/sequence, but it is in the owners manual.

Something like:

parking brake on, turn key to on, but dont start. Wait for the lights on the dash to go off. Within 50 seconds, you need to buckle and unbuckle the seatbelt nine times, the seatbelt light on the dash will blink 3 times, buckle and unbucle one more time, then it will confirm with 3 blinks per second for three second.

*you have to sit in the seat you want to disable.

sounds difficult to some, but its not, and works easily.

Its in the owners manual.

1. Turn key to "on" position. Dont start truck. wait about 1 minute for airbag light to go off. Buckle and unbuckle seatbelt 9 times in 50 seconds. Then airbag light will flash.(If airbag light flashes you know you did it right). Then buckle and unbuckle the seat 3 more times. Then your done. Sounds confusing, but its really easy. Like I said, its in the manual.. Caled BeltMinder System.

I'm surprised they don't make you stand on your head and bark like a dog as well!!! Sheesh, why not just a simple on/off feature?

I don't have to worry about it. When I picked up my truck, my seatbelt reminder was disabled.

I followed the instruction to the "t", and it would not disable. I finally took it into the dealer and had them disable it. Technician couldnt get the disable code to work either, I think they disconnected it or something.
