BRIAN,

I just put your lift on last week and have 315/70/17 bfg AT's on order.

I only did the 2.5. Do you think I should tear it back apart and add the 1/2" plate to make sure there is enough clearense?

metalsludge - How much were your tires? My preferred dealer priced the same tires at $210 each. I would love to see pics of your truck when you get them on.

Sam's price is usually installed and their stores are everywhere. Plus I shredded a tire after 2 day's and they couldn't get any more tires so they gave me my money back including the install and went with me to buy a new tire from a wholesaler and put it on for free. In the end I saved $10.

Is discount tire a chain store or web site? Do you have web address?

Closest one to me is in Orlando, I am in Tampa......looks like they want $218 a tire. But, still would have liked to have met that manager. Oh well.

Thanks!
