Lightbulb My new 2004 F150 STX

I just recently purchased a new STX. It runs pretty good but needs to sound louder. I plan on dropping it 2in. in the front and 4in. in the back. any one have any good ideas on what size rims/tires i should put on it? also what kinda of cold air intake should i put on it? it's the 4.2L V6. Dark blue, A.R.E tonneau cover. Hopefully soon i will have the exhaust done on it so it at least sounds good. Feel free to give some feed back.

get a warlock SIDO exhaust, and a mac intake. Cheap and effective. There are several posts here about peoples opinions on which mods are best for them. Look around and Im sure you'll find a lot of options. Welcome to FTE.

Yea, james has a pretty niced set of rims on his ride. Click on his name and go to his gallery. you can check out the pics.

My opinion of exhaust and intake is the same as Garretts.

yeah i'll probably go with some chrome 20's on mine. with the paint job it would look freak'n awsome. but it'll take me a while to get some rims and tires. i'd like to get it sounding meaner first and then lower it and then get the rims.

I wish I could get some 18 inch Crager SSs for mine.,.....biggest they make is 17s or that I have seen at least...I may end up going iwth Torque thrust from american racing if they offer one big enough when I can afford them....be that like 50 years down the road

James, I completely forgot it was you until i just looked at your gallery. Where have you been. You vanished for a bit.

STX, my question is when did they start putting 4.2's in the 04 models. I thought the new 04's were all supposed to be v8's?????? Is it the same 4.2??? I'm frazzled

Tom
