460 Supercharger and nitrous
Okay, here's my high on crack thought for the day. Just out of curiousity, if one were to add nitrous to an engine with a roots style blower (I'm thinking 8-71) is there an option for adding nitrous other than the NOS kit with the giant lines that look rediculous? I was wondering if nozzles could be tapped into the manifold like is done with fogger kits for EFI?
It's out there but just a thought I had. I don't care for the looks of the big nitrous manifold sitting on there.
Alright, now that I'm done dreaming, any thoughts?

You could get the direct port injection and have the lower blower manifold drilled and tapped for the nozzles. This would give you one nozzle per cylinder. The only thing is the timing and air/fuel ratio. IIRC blowers like the timing set one way and nitrious likes it the other way. I know it can be done or we wouldn't have 6 sec cars.

Timing should be retarded for a blower, correct? I'm not sure how much advance nitrous needs but I would assume even with retarded timing (I love saying that) a shot will still cool your intake charge and increase oxygen for increased power. It was just an idea I've been kicking around. I am running an MSD ignition right now with a timing control in the cab so I could fiddle with it a bit to advance my timing if I were to use the N2O.
I like the idea of direct port injection to clean up all the clutter. I've seen some regular intakes with direct port injection on the lower side so when it's in place you only see 1 nitrous line and 1 fuel line going to the manifold, all the rest is hidden away. Doesn't look like the blower manifolds are setup to where you could do this though.
