Changing to 4-bbl

Ebay Item # 2467204604
and # 2468506531

Since I have to get a new carb anyways, I was thinking of converting it over to 4 -bbl. I know these intake manifolds will fit on my 272, but I just wanted to make sure and check with you guys.

Thanks

Yes it will bolt on and work, just make sure your carb has the correct bolt pattern for these manifolds. -4speed(p.s that ECZ-9425-B is a really good intake, it will accept I think later model holley's and maybe carters?)

Both of those intakes will work and use the modern holly or carter edelbrock carbs. You will also need to upgrade to the 58 and newer dissy with the newer carbs. I am running a intake like that on my 272.

The ECZ-B manifold fits up to standard Holley carbs. The -A manifold fits older Rochester (4GC) and early Carter AFB carbs.

I think there may be differences in port sizes, too.

Those manifolds come up on ebay all the time, so it pays to be patient.

The early -A manifold will not fit the AFB as it has the same base as the Holley and Autolite 4100 series.

The A will take the small base 4G series as well as the Carter WCFB. However if you want to use a modern style carb go buy the TransDapt #2064 at Summit, etc. The bores flow very well down to the smaller size.

the -B intake should not cost over $50 at any self respecting flea market. EBay is usually over $100 plus cast iron UPS charge. The -B flows very well, the -A is so-so.
