Talking Thanks everyone for all your posts!

I just wanted to thank everyone participating in this forum. I've have learned so much about the new F150 that I feel confident as I head in this morning to pick up my Lariat S/C. Armed with all the information from this forum, I was able to order the exact model with all the options I wanted.

I ordered the truck on Jan 20, and it was built right here in Norfolk VA.

I won't be driving it home today, because the spray-in bedliner and undercoating will be done after I've inspected the truck and signed the paperwork, but I should have it back by Friday afternoon or Saturday at the latest. Can't wait!

Regards,

Dusty

Yes, I'm looking forward to posting pictures in the gallery when I get it. It looks like we'll have a snowstorm tonight, so I might get to do a bit of 4-wheelin' right away!

What cab style did you get? All I saw was Lariat S/C that could mean super cab (scab) or super crew (screw). What options and color combo is it? I know from personnal experience with the 04 F-150 that you should be very satisfied. Best darn pickup on the road.

Sorry, you're right. It's a Supercab. I just posted a few pix of it in my gallery. I put 200 miles on it today. The weather was just great in Virginia today for a joy ride--and it was a real joy driving. I only realized I was driving a truck when I got out and looked back! Amazing ride for a truck, totally quiet. So far, no vibration in either steering wheel or differential. Now, if it could only get 50mpg I'd never go home!
