A Different Power Window Problem?

I have looked through the other power window threads and haven't found anything quite like this (at least on the face of it). I have just bought a 97 F-150 and after a couple of weeks the driver's side window just quit working. Not that it went down then quit, it won't do anything at all. I have read somewhere (can't recall now) that if the driver's window switch makes a clicking noise (which mine does) that that is a useful piece of knowledge. But I don't know why. So I'm checking with you experts.

It could be a bad switch. I hate when they are on the door, because it is too easy to get water in them and the terminals corrode.
It could be a bad window motor too, sometimes they can get rusted up over the years and quit working too.
You need to check the power wires to the motor while activating the switch to see if they get voltage. If yes, then the switch is good, if not, it is probably bad.
