I ended up buying a radiator from NAPA auto parts (is that redundant?!?)

Got the $180 unit with plastic tanks and aluminum core.


Did you paint your aluminum radiator, to prevent corrosion on the outside (from things like mag chloride and other contaminants)?

NO, Do NOT paint it. It will NOT transfer heat correctly an over heat
