300 i6 power loss

well i ve had my truck for about a year and have noticed a power loss and a gasmilage loss as well, i have changed tthe sparkplugs airfilter fuel filter, it kinda hesitates a bit like at 2000 rpm kinda bogs abit until 2700 rpms its not real noticable but i can feel it and also seems to have more trouble going up hills used be able to go up at 70 and gain speed now have trouble going up at 60 on the same hill, ne suggestions would be great, 89 f150 300 ci efi, i havent changed nething that could make the differece like that, also looking to build it up ne suggestions, alos thinking of exhaust heard 3in racemag dumped over rear axels no cats sound good butwant some other opinions

a few ideas that could cause the problem: plugging cats, bad oxygen sensor, or a bad engine coolant temp sensor.... also the timing could be off. has the check engine light come on lateley?

well i dont have ne cats, bbut how do i check the engine coolant sensor,also could a vaccum leak cause that, or not, notcied my heater doestn blow after i get above 35 mph what could cause that, engine light hasnt came on

i bet u have a bad vaccum leak, that is what is probably causing your problems

Talking twin turbo!!!!!!

your prob is most likely a vacume or sensor get them read.

as for more power try twin turbos!!!!!! im a student at WYOTech and i own a '93' i-6 300 with home/school made twin turbo setup.

try it it works!!!
