Exhaust Crossover

Hi, i got a eldebrock performer that i'm modifying to convert to fuel injection. There is a crak or two in the exhaust crossover. Is there any bad side to just pluging this off? Thanks!

Well, i'm a machinist and having a carbed engine (now atleast) and being that the efi manifold does not fit carbed head, it is easier to modify a carbed intake for FI. I have already built a 900 CFM 4 Barrel throttle body and have a stock intake modified as practice, but i want to go with a better flowing intake. This will also be controlled with a modified home built injection computer.... I'm a mechanical engineer, playing with this stuff is a great time!

I think the crossover is mostly for cold weather to facilitate warm up
