Better than I thought for a 4x4 screw. What are you getting?

had one at 16.6 mpg trip up to my sisters....still early though only 1400 miles...plus were talking sub zero temps here and sometimes 4x4 in snowing conditions

I'm not too happy with my MPG if everyone else is telling the truth on their results. I have a 4x2 lariat super cab,5.4,3.55 gears with a tonneau cover and 2000 miles on it and according to the mpg meter in the info center, I.m getting 12.5-13.0 with probably 70/30 city/hwy driving and I consider myself an extremely conservative driver! I had a 97 lariat 4x2 with the 4.6 and was getting 15-16mpg and a 02 gmc 4x2 4.8 L and getting close to 16 also. What's all this talk that the 5.4 3 valve will get about the same mpg as a 4.6? Any ideas guys?

 

Figuring the mileage the old math way is much more accurate than using the truck's indicator. My F350's console is way off.

I'm getting 15...with long idle warm-ups, subzero temps, and lots of 4X4 driving. Speed limit is 55 here. I'm expecting 17 or better come summer.

 

I have the 4.6 in mine and am getting aound 17 city and 21 highway.
