ok, time for good news bad news... I got the truck running and inspected so it's legal for the run BUT... while I was putting the clutch in I managed to grab my buddies ankle, that's not the strange part ( get your minds outta the gutter ) the strange part is I was on the ground and he was sitting in the passenger side of my truck... BIG rust monster bite mark!!! so now my seat is out, my carpet is hanging on my fence to dry out and I have a big hole cut out and a patch panel to go in but with the carpet out I am seeing more work for my sand blaster and welder SOOOO... I was wondering if we have a firm date for this thing so I know when I need to have my baby buttoned up again. Oh, and Congrats Cowlady!!!

 

Sorry to hear about the extra work ST Wilson. Hopefully you'll finish it soon. As for a firm date I heard 6/19 being mentioned but not anything definite yet. I'm going to have a hard time getting time off then - I already asked at work. I'll keep you posted - I'm trying to switch vacation days with other people.

ok, well the day is getting closer, what time do we want to meet up there? anybody else heading in from Long Island want to hook up convoy style? also, anybody else toting a cb in their truck, might help us find each other once we are there. oh, I also noticed on Paragon's site that one driver for every group has to have participated in their trail guide program, anyone here done that yet?

 

would love to ST but engine is shot and i have a company picnic the same day. I'm looking to get another bronco though

Sorry HelpI'mStuck - I've been sick then had to go to my Aunt's funeral in NYC & now I'm sick again. I'll try to get a head count but right now, I may not be able to make a June trip. I'm so far behind in bills & the gas prices are killing me. I still want to go down but will have to wait till July or Aug @ this point.
Anyhow, I'll do my best to get the head count for you ok? Thanks for being patient w/me!

 

Sorry to hear about your aunt cowlady...hope you feel better soon too.

I won't be able to make the June trip either, a dear friend of mine just had both hands amputated and I don't think I'll be up for the trip so soon.

 

I'm so sorry stupato. That has to be very hard to deal with for both of you. I'll keep him in my prayers. Thanks too for your kind words.
