how do you know when your 5.4 has blown a spark plug? does the engine still turn over? i see people talking about spark plug problems all the time, just want to know what to look for god forbid anything happend in the future.

 

It will still run, it will make a loud popping noise because there is no sparkplug in the hole to hold in the compression. You should be able to see a COP up and out of place if it has blown a plug.
It will also have a dead miss.
