Hello all

I have been doing a good bit of junk to my truck and I still dont have the the power that I am looking for. I just rebuilt the moter so I was thinking it could be in the drivetrain somewhere. I have a 79 f-250 with a 460 in it. I rebuilt the motor around 1300 miles ago. It has 73 heads,flat top pistons, rv cam, edelbrock 750 carb,edelbrock performer intake, hooker headers, MSD ignition, and a blaster 2 coil. Does anyone think it could be the tranny and if so what is a good kit. It's a C6.

 

it could possibly be the tranny sense your motor has all them upgrades, but id make sure your motor is running as strong as it should be and if it is the tranny, im not sure of the best rebuild kits but i know you can find them at www.jegs.com or www.summitracing.com, they should have good quality rebuild kits for a C6.
