V10 Mpg
My 2002 F350 4x4 Super Cab short bed V10 A/T 3.73 has provided an average (some towing, most empty) of 11 MPG over the 27,000 miles on it.
The best MPG is 13.4 (Freeway 70+ MPH) and lowest is 9.1 MPG avg. towing my 28 ft 7000 lb. trailer (up I5 through the big passes).
MPG is calculated from actual consumption, not from trip computer.
Zero troubles so far, only scheduled work .... (well, except 6x CD-changer replaced under warranty).
Happy new year,

I do sbout 1 mpg better than that with a CC 2X4. AS friend just sold his V10, he had 225,000 miles on it and many hours of sitting ideling. It never went to the shop and never had a problem, in his words "it was the best motor he ever owned and the best motor ever made". He had a PSD before that and now has a Duromax.

Over 16MPG with a SC SB 4x4 with a cab-height cap on the bed, doing 75-80MPH. Slow down to 65, goes down to 14 (look this up, it was in another thread where a bunch of people got at least 1MPG more doing 75 instead of 65).
Without the cap at 75MPH, 13.5MPG, even less doing 65-70.
Stop-and-go, I can get down to 5MPG
3.73 rear, stock 235/85r16 tires

MPG....
I'll weigh in again too:
I get around 11.5mpg mixed driving.
Get a little over 14mpg on highway doing 65mph with no load.
Get between 9 and 10 towing my enclosed trailer.
I agree on keeping the foot out of the gas (not that I always heed my own advice ). Keeping the rpm under 2000 as much as possible easily gives me an extra 1 to 2 mpg per tank of gas.
BTW-I have the 3.73 gearing.

Everybody,
For what it's worth, I've been getting around 14 mpg, +/- 1, no matter what I do. I was tempted to reset the computers after I bought it a few weeks ago, but decided not to, at least for the time being, as I don't want to lose whatever setting(s) are lodged in the "brain" of my van...

My average mileage would vary from about 8-10, but the lowest I've seen it was 3 !!! of course this was pulling our travel trailer up the mountain passes in north Idaho, trying to stay at crusin speeds.
recently it dropped to roughly 5-8mpg ..I changed the fuel filter & spark plugs... both of which were toast... cleaned the MAF, cleaned and re-oiled the filter.... and raised my tire pressure from 35 back up to 55 front and 65 rear.
so far it seems to have done the trick... the trip computer is saying i'm getting 11... most of my driving is to and from work... which is about 2 miles, so i'd say its come up alot. on the interstate its reading 17. cant beat that
