New Years day and everything seems slow. What are you all doing today. I had to work last night and have to work tonight. But double time makes it ok with me.

 

Im here. Yay. Well not for too long, I hope. Kinda watching football, and checking the posts here.

Family is up, had a nice breakfast Drinking Mimosa's
We were not awake at Midnight It's that sleep when the baby sleeps thing that puts us to bed early every night
Making slow cooked garlic Collards for dinner to go along with some nice fried catfish! ....

The boys are playing Play Station... pretty good New Year's Day so far
and best of all
no hang over

 

i was out till about 2 last night but managed to get up on the computer at about 11 today to check out FTE. i dont have much to do today, i tihnk ill go out and sight in my .22 rifle later, thats about it.

Took my first shower of 2004. Had my first breakfast of 2004 and no New Years would be complete with out the Rose Parade with family...but then I have to share breakfast too...oh well.. Plan on giving the family car it's first bath in 2004 and also plan on changing the oil in my work truck...How about you Mike W.?

 

there aint much goin on anywhere and its drivin me nuts, its so boring.

i went into work to talk to a couple friends, the ex girlfriend was working and i found out she has a new bad opinion of me from one of the guys, so that caused me to smoke a few cigarettes after i left.

then ive been crusin town but there aint no one around. then it was time to get outta dodge so i came home and checked all the fluid levels and hoses on my truck to kill some time.

damn im bored. i almost wish i worked 7 days a week, or i just need to buy another demo car to work on.

It is extremely quiet, everyone must be hanging out.
I was on at 6 am and it was real still on FTE

 

I'm awake, stayed up til 1, was sick
went to work, just got home at 2, and worked on my truck til now

 

Just ate pork and kraut and blackeyed peas and rice and collards (combining two traditions).

Installed a power outlet in mother-in-law's bathroom. Found a very large snakeskin in the attic when running wires.

Slept late today, went to a local club last night that I would not have gone to under any circumstance except my wife wanted to go out and didn't want to drive out of town and risk drunk traffic.

Now checking FTE, then going to find some cheesy B movie on TV and relax.

 

Went to bed at 1 A.M. after drinking a bottle of Sake...well most of it. Got up at 6:15, got ready and came to work. Now, no more drinking for another year.

 

I am on my way to work in 30 min.

 

Took mom out for birthday dinner, won her two stuffed animals out of the claw machine, got home noticed my passenger side seat is broke in my bronco, and now im here. Happy New Years everyone
