Stock Valvetrain???

Long story short, my engine needs a cam. Since I would eventually be putting an aftermarket in anyways, I thought I should do it now. I am looking at the computer cam from comp. PN 34-255-5. It has 212, 219 I/E duration at .050, and .490, .495" lift on a 114 lobe sep. Should this be OK with stock valvetrain? Comp opens monday, so I will call them, too. Just wanted to compare notes. Thanks.
