A niegbor of mine has the F450 6pd 4.88 4x4 v10 and hauls commercialy -he got a good deal on the small gasser,but he huals trailers that are 21,000-30,000lbs I know i know ............ tell the SOB to get the $%$% off the road.Thats not the logical thing even though he is a little over his weghtlimit he has serois hill climbing trouble 3rd gear @30mph punched he asked me what 6PSI boost would do?? and any super charger recommendations??Would it make a diffrence?I told him do exoust,chip,intake.

If your friend goes to the website at superchargersonline, they show a whipple supercharger putting out 650 ft lbs tq. and close to 700 ft lbs with a intercooler. If he's serious about towing that weight 700 ft lb would help alot. He'd probably have to keep his foot light on the throttle going up those same hills. But I think his overall fuel mileage might drop a little if not alot.
Question, I didn't know they hooked the 6 speed up to the v10. Are you sure it's not the 5 speed or did I miss something offered by ford.?

no it's a 6 speed I drove it. When he told me it was slow i thought 60-65mph not 25-30mph
