I just got a pair of JBA nickel-chrome plated headers with the EGR fitting for my 1998 Mazda. This weekend I got all the tools I needed as specified on the instructions and was ready to do the job. Me being the novice that I am had no idea the nightmere I was entering into. Bull crap you can just unbolt the old headers off the old exhaust. I am telling you my arm cramped so bad I thought it was going to pop. There is no way conventional tools will take it off. I then realized I did not have the proper tools for the job. Like a cutting torch and other things. I think this job may be a little out of my leauge.
Soooooo I was wondering if there are any good shops that can do it for a reasonable price. I called the exhaust shop that did my dual exhaust and he told me that he wont do them. Why not? Are they that much of a pain to do? I hope I dont have to fork over like $800 dollars for someone else to do it.
