E-Mail is a "not done" through FTE, although you can forward through secure channels by way of it. (It arrives with a THIS PERSON HAS SENT YOU AN EMAIL header)

I was at SEA, the ship cut off all non-essential message traffic.

I have full access to hotmail now that I am ashore.

The cutting of non-essential message traffic must be a demoralizing issue for the crew. I would have thought, that to a confirmed FTE junky such as yourself, the access to the board was most definitely essential message traffic.

Though I must admit, when away from access to the FTE, I only miss it for the first couple of days, then I get a blank look on my face as I trundle round the country, looking at things.

I'm a Lone Runner...

I vomit up interesting stuff when I'm full of it...

Or either I spit out what I have to say when I think I have something to say...

(sometimes I have been mistaken)

Err, well -
What's a few hairballs among friends, eh?

I have a few plan targets to hit this week, including the dual rims and the back tank hook up.

The oil pressure is unaccountably low all of a sudden though, so oil and filter just hit the top of the priority chart.

I may go twenty fifty to see what happens, dunno if the old fuel pump was ever bypassed - that's another hit.

I hope I don't have to explore the wonderful world of diesel oil pump replacement this week...

NFH isn't going to wait for anybody, my friend. I have to do what I can and quickly, or it won't last to get it home and do it completely and correctly.

But as long as it gets where I need it to be, I can go through it with a fine toothed comb. There will be plenty of opportunity to explore the wonderful world of truck reconstruction then, believe me.

I forsee at least one frame-off resto, a diesel retrofit into the F-100, and a diesel bus that may not be a FORD at all - I think a pure International with a turbo diesel is best.

I may also rob a bigger diesel engine and driveline out of a bus for another project at the same time, and i would like to at least begin work on a Mercedes so that I'll have a comfortable town car.

So much to do - so little time. I hope I can make money at this, or I'll never get to do everything I want to...

I know a lot of people who make a living making dreams happen in the automotive world. Little guys who have a place to live, and a place to work, and who do amazing things with their ideas. I have no doubt that your mind will conjure up marvelous machines that will grow and be sellable.

I got some news on the cashflow - there'll be 86 hundred coming in off the "Executors Fee" for Pop's estate. No wonder the greedy little bugger (my brother) got his panties in a wad over it...

NOPE! He ain't getting it. Definately.

Krikey - that's enough to buy a HOG with, and get it running if I do it right...

I look forward to these things:

When you fire a HOG, you better keep your knee bent. If she backfire - you goin' over the handlebars!!!

A HOG grunts, and rumbles... The whole frame trembles like it anticipates the highway even when it's standing still.

Every part of a Harley is made for one thing - 75 miles an hour continuously....

You may have mirrors, you seldom look back! A HOG is for going down your own road.

The earth talks to you when you own the road...

Dunno if I'll carry. Dunno if I care....
