I have a 1990 Ford F-150 Supercab with full-length box and a Ford factory canopy (year unknown). I am in the process of full restoration of this vehicle. I have two questions:
1. My canopy has box-side sliding windows. The carbon steel frames for these windows has rotted away. I am trying to find replacement frames for these sliders. Any idea where I can get Ford OEM parts, or if those are unavailable, if any manufacturers provide suitable after market parts? At the moment, my only option appears to be to custom fabricate a set. Mucho dinero!
2. The color scheme for the truck is a base of dark metal flake charcoal, with an insert color of mid grey metal flake. Do you know of a website where I can get a truck profile and mess with colors to come up with a new combination I like?
This has nothing to do with your questions, but if your restoring your truck. It might help if you pick up a brochure of the 1990 F-series. It might give you some help in the products and options available!
