Question
If you had the option and money would you:
A.) Swap your 4.2 with a lightning 5.4
B.) Swap your 4.2 with a Cobra 5.4 (supercharged)
C.) Keep your 4.2 and soop it up to be faster than the above 2
Obviously the swap would include tranny, driveshaft, and rear diff swaps...
It's kinda hard for me to tell... I think it would be kinda neat to cruise around in an F150 with a 6 speed tranny and a supercharged 5.4 our of a Cobra. I wonder if that can even be done or if it ever has been done. So, what would you do?

Oh yeah Brian.
You've got it...The RC51 is sweet. My buddy has one and he tears the turns up on that thing.
However, it is no match for my 2003 GSX1300R Huyabusa. That's king of the road.
Do you ride? Or are you just thinking about it. I've been riding almost my whole life. James has a stunt team in Tampa.
As for the truck thing? I have to have a supercab guys. I think I go with the fully loaded, all black, Harley Davidson Crew Cab.
Actually, you know what I've always wanted? A duelly with a 5th wheel in a crew cab...Wow, talk about a big sucker. That's what I would want. Then I would need a HUGE driveway to park it in.

Actually,
I just went down for a smoke and stared at my truck (as I always do) and you know, I love my truck just the way it is. I put alot of work into it and am very proud of it. I would keep it just the way it is.
If I did have unlimited funds, I think I would bribe Ken into making me a moderator on this site.....then I could kick Joe out!!!!
Just kidding buddy.

OK, I'll bite..and veer off topic a little to answer Tom.
I LOVE to ride motorcycles!
I still have my old (84) Honda Nighthawk S. Jetted and Kerker headers. it runs very good for a 20 year old bike.
Also have a CBR 1000F. Great all-around bike. Fast and comfortable. Also does a good job on nice big sweeping turn roads.
Also have a Honda Super Hawk 996. Jetted w/ Carbon Fiber slip-ons. I LOVE the v-twin torque. It is a really fun bike to ride.
Recently sold two old Yamaha XS650 Specials I had "rebuilt". The Beast turned out the best of the two and was really fun to ride. I redid everything on it (except engine internals) Headers, complete rejet/rebuild of carbs, rebuilt front forks, new shocks, individual air filters, new brakes F and R, etc. etc. etc. I kinda miss it.
Smokey, the other 650, was quite unique. I wasn't as fond of it as I was The Beast. Don't miss it so much!
Anyways, The Hayabusa is a nice bike. If I was to go into that catagory, I'd probably go w/ an RC51, or the new (WOW!) CBR1000RR, or a GSXR 1000. But, after all is said an done, any of them are fine. They all have two wheels and are WAYYYY faster than my truck.
plus, I have yet to find a way to hang out of my truck in a 100 mph left hand sweeper!

OPEN THE DOOR, HANG OFF THE STEERING WHEEL AND SCRAPE YOUR KNEE PUCKS ON THE GROUND!!!
Brian,
My last bike was a yellow SuperHawk. I freakin smashed it into the back of a van pulling wheelies. That front end LOVES to come up. I loved that bike. Brings tears to my eyes.
Anyway, great subject change. Now back to trucks.

I ride dirtbikes... Nothing is better than jumping 40 ft and landing smooth. But i love street bikes too... My dad has a 2002 Suzuki Bandit 1200S that he never rides and sometimes i cruise around on it. I just love the feeling of railin turns and the taste of dirt in my mouth.... well... maybe not the dirt. So that's why i stick with dirtbikes.
