Thinking of a bed cover..

I'm getting inclined to get the "Undercover" or the Peragon "accordion type" cover..Thanks in advance for any/all inputs..I live in Dallas Tx., so not much weather related issues. Major points of cosideration for me would be ease in removal,Looks (of course!!), cargo security and yes..price!! Anybody using these products???Thanks again!!!

undercover

Okay I may order this on Monday.

Does it really fit tight?
How about wind noise?
Does it rub the sides or tail gate?

Fill me in if you already have this installed please.

As you ewill find out it's a snug fit and no wind noise and it does not rub the sides....As for installation I had it installed since I was baby sitting that day and did not want to mess w/ it with my three year old grand daughter running around the garage. It took the installers ( two guys) less than an hour to install it but then again they have done this several times before. I figure it will take you two hours. The first hour is unpacking and getting familiar w/ the parts and procedure and the installation part (once familiar w/ the parts/procedure) shoul not be more than an hour.. I watched them install mine and it should be straight forward.. Good luck and have fun.. You will love it and update us of the results!!

I installed my Undercover myself. Took about an hour. The cover installes easily, does not rub the sides or tailgate, is water tight, secure with two waterproof locks, and looks good.
It weighs 58 pounds, and is easy to remove/install.

There is no wind noise at all.

You'll love it.

Personally, I like the ARE brand, but they are not cheap, they are designed for your type of truck. I have used the same one on 3-different PSD. I just have it painted. amacki4353

Good choice and that was my first choice. It look so elegant being painted the same color of the truck. The reason I chose "UNDERCOVER" first, is the ease of removal ( it's just 58 lbs) and I can take it off myself in a minute or less..second reason is the cost.. It's almost double ($895.00 plus tax, plus installation where I live)... For anybody that wants a painted, elegant looking bedcover, who does not have to take it off often, Yes, ARE is a great choice...
