Off Road Club
#16
Hi! Can a NY'er join? I am WAY over in Buffalo but I'd love to try making it out there for some off roading!
The NY Chapter is also planning an off road trip this summer to Paragon Park in Hazelton, PA. We'd love to have you join us!
Check the sticky in our Forum & if you think you'd be interested post it there. We don't have a date yet but list what weekends are good for you. We plan to camp out but there's motels in the area too.
Hope to meet you this summer!

Ford 4x4 club sounds AWESOME!
I live in Lebanon, Ct, and would LOVE to hang out with some other people who like to beat the hell out of there trucks in the mud. If we could find a decent place, I could probably even bring the car hauler to pull people if needed..
My truck isn't very big or powerful,(86 F250, 4spd standard, 460ci) but I'm sure it's fun. We have one VERY small mud hole here that is pretty cool, I'm sure it's trespassing, but there are no signs or anything. Fun to stop at for 20min, and only good after it rains..
Keep us informed. Maybe start a 'mailing list' or geo****ies websight? I know a little bit if you want to try it out..

Yes FordPerf300....things get rather illegal around ct, remember the meadows? Theres some goodtimes there. Team Big Ugly seems to have people throughout wallingford/meridan/berlin, but alot of chevys! Seems everyone here is into mud, which im always in for, but im starting to really get into scaling rock on a few of the small mountains ct offers. As for any other club stuff, if you read the previous post topic for a meeting, people are looking at hubbard park in meridan as a possible location.

Ah yes...the medows.....i'll continue to wheel the dirt roads there, they are public roads, just ****es me off that people are cause millions in damage by driving through the sod fields. I also wheel taine mt, carabettas mt, portland fair grounds. I have a friend who has a cottage on gardner lake and we are there pretty much every weekend during the summer and would love to do some wheeling around their, we went through this long trail off the highway near the flanders exit (if you get off the exit going north you'll end up near a mcdonalds, tho i'm not quite familiar with the area)
