Brake low pressure warning switch

I just picked up my 84 f 150 xlt from shipment to hawaii. I noticed the brake pedal had no pressure at all and the reservior for the rear circuit was totally empty. I filled the master cylinder up and pumped up the brakes. It stops pretty good, not like it used to but it has pretty good pedal feel. The light wont go out though. Maybe it needs bleeding? I imagine quit a bit of air got sucked in while pumping the brakes with an empty reservior. Ill try bleeding it tomorrow and get back.

you'll need to bleed the master cylinder and the whole rear circuit.. that way you can get the air out. if you don't get any fluid from the rear, crack open&bleed a line in the front to reset the low pressure valve.

its nice t ohave a working set of brakes ain't it?

make sure you check the reservor every so often to make sure it is retaining fluid, in case of any leaks.
