Does anyone have any experience in swapping out the egr valve on the v10. I have to take it off and test it, possible change it out. Is there any special tools needed to do the job and is a new gasket required? Thanks for any help.

 

I took the EGR valve off of my truck to test it. I didn't put on a new gasket, but I was careful not to tear the one that was already there. No special tools are required. I used regular ol' wrenches and sockets. It was easy to take off.
