identify a motor

i need information on how to identify what size motor i have .the casting numbers are d1ve-6015-a2b. i know what year and what it was in but do not know what size it is...

that is going to be hard with out knowing the stroke of your engine. Pull out a spark plug and use a coat hanger or wooden dowel to measure. Just mark it when the cylinder is TDC and then again TDB. then measure the distance between the two lines.

It's a an engine designed for a 71 with numerous change-ups.

It's application is for the Lincoln car.
Although, the 460 was also used in trucks later in the 70's.

That is the engine block you posted.

There should be some other numbers right near those ones you found. They look something like this *1A23 *
