PCV valve question
I went to Schuck's yesterday to pick up a PCV valve for my 92 F250 351, and the one the book had listed for my truck has two different inlet lines on it, and the one on my truck (that must be original because it says Motorcraft on it ) only has one. I asked the parts guy about it, and he fed me some line of crap and said "well that's why it has that tiny little plastic plug for the smaller line." Smells fishy to me. I'd rather go to Ford and pay an arm and a leg and know I'm getting the right part then to chance that little plug falling out and my engine sucking dirt or something like that. Any suggestions or ideas?

You might use a 302 version then. Last time I replaced mine, the 302 and 351 had the same part numbers.
I'm surprised your Walmart didn't carry the PCV...

PCV valve question
Hey super...
My 89F150 has a PCV with that setup - two outlets, one capped. I don't recall if it was Motorcraft brand when I pulled it to re-work the vacuum line.
I had been wondering why it was configured that way. I just assumed the previous owner had installed an aftermarket part, and that whichever one you did not use needed to be capped. As I recall the outlets were of different sizes.
One caution-> I had a heck of a time re-installing the PCV valve into the elbow hose, and then the elbow into the rocker cover due to the tight space. Basically I got it without having to remove anything but it took a lot of patience.

PCV valve question
it is the same for other yrs and engines; the replacement pcv is a univ fit and would be ok; but i agree in buying MC parts and esp the filters!!!!
Our Napa (Wix superduty) oil filter blew it's anti-drain-back valve and cause ticking on cold start up; and the same make & fram/etc air filters do not fit as well as the MC brand due to oversize gasketing.

That plastic piece with the two inlets is removable. I boought the same valve with the two inlets. I got tired of trying to plug the one inlet. I took the inlet off the old PCV valve. Made sure the inside of it was clean, pulled the dual inlet off the new valve and put the single on it. Took less than two minutes to do.

If that won't work you will have to buy two valves. The one with the dual inlets (the right valve) and one with one inlet (wrong valve right inlet) and swap the inlets on those as well.
