fuel pumps

LAST EDITED ON 03-Nov-01 AT 04:17 PM (EST)[p]I have a 1990 XLT Lariat, with dual tanks. I have had a lot of trouble getting my tank selector switch to work even after replacing it, but now I'm having trouble with my fuel pump in my front tank. My back tank still doesn't work. I read that the fuel tank selector switch worked off of pressure so I was wandering if and how I could eliminate the rear tank. I figure the fewer the components the better. I don't even need two tanks. I appreciate it, EP
