Rear main crank seal

I am getting ready to replace the rear main crankshaft seal on my 1985 F350 with 460 motor. Based on discussions here, I have decided to go with the later style one piece oil pan gasket.

For the crank seal itself I find that FelPro has two. One is a rubber gasket (BS40032) and the other is made of Viton (BS40654). The Viton, at $38, is four times the cost of the rubber gasket.

What is the consensus on which should be used?

Many thanks,

Mark
