I'm new to the forum and need some input. Where's the best place to go in the Niagara Region to source a remanufactured 5.4 engine & tranny for an '04 F-150? Thanks so much!

 

I can say I went with a Ford remanufactured motor. dealer installed. I was uncomfortable buying an after market one installed by an unknown technician. So far it's been ok. I was unhappy initially that they used the old coil packs & injectors. Have replaced those as they fail. But next fail I'm replacing them all.

I'll check out Ford's...I think you were right in going that route...

 

Never used them, but I have heard that Purz Auto has a good rebuilt trans. 4R75E $1500 to the door with all the Sonnex upgrades. 3yr/36000 mile warranty.
