I have a 2012 f250 and I replaced the turbo with a new one. The new turbo does not have a wastegate on it but my check engine like comes on throwing a code p1249 wastegate control valve performance. I was curious on how I can trick the computer or have the computer reset to where it doesn't throw that code as that code is no longer needed.
