Here's my engine. Most of the really visible PA dust is gone--Still some in the corners and hard to reach places though:







We still have patches of snow on the ground, so I made my self imposed deadline for the engine clean-up. Driving around it will just get dirty again, so no sense getting too crazy.

ps The colors look a little off probably because of the lighting. The engine block matches the color of the intake even though the pic makes them appear quite different. The paint is Hirsch Lincoln Mercury Light-Green which is thought to be pretty close to the factory correct color. The valve cover is a custom mixed paint.

That big hot rod motor actually seems to fit in there pretty nicely.

Yeah it worked out really nice. No problems with steering or anything else.

Someday I'll get the hood back on the truck. Meanwhile it is much easier to work on it without the hood.
