Ah, just think - titanium frame and all stainless body F150. Powered by an electric motor at each wheel. No trans. No transfer case. No lockers. Instant torque. The entire thing powered by a plutonium fueled thermal electric generator. I WANT ONE!

Ummmm....someone please had me my meds....

So a combination of a jet fighter, Ford Nucleon, DeLorean, and a Tesla...Wonder if Fort Knox has enough gold to fund just the first payment?

I've discussed this very same powertrain layout with friends before. The reactor wouldn't need to be very big st all. Could be a nightmare in the event of a collision. Imagine, no gasoline used used and you could pug it in at home for a supplemental power source.

This vehicle could never be built. It would put oil and electric generating companies out of business.

And you'd only have to refuel every 87.5 years - the half life of Pu-238.

Thanks for all the comments. Still waiting for the Expedition to get back from Fords body shop for the repaint on the hood, rear door and structural cracks in the roof. After further research, the cause of the aluminum corrosion is iron contamination at the factory prior to paint. The dealership and body shop confirmed, they have seen a lot of these. Ford should have addressed this years ago and I will continue the social media campaign to inform the public.

I`ve never understood and I still don`t understand why people waste their time coming on a forum and post something like this and most of the time to never be heard from again.

Maybe it`s just me but I can think of better ways to waste my time.

I wonder how often th OP wipes down areas like that. Every 4-5 washed I open the hood and give it all a good wiping down. It all looks new
